Passed first time and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Shah. From my very first lesson, he was patient, reassuring and supportive whilst always taking the time to explain things in a way that made sense. Every lesson felt relaxed but productive, and he always knew exactly what I needed to work on to build my confidence. I’m genuinely so grateful for all his help, and encouragement, and I’ll miss our therapy sessions and the laughs we had.

I’m an NHS worker living in Liverpool City Centre. I had previously failed my driving test 3 times several years ago. I knew I had to get back into driving to pass my test, and drive confidently and comfortably.

Shah is an incredibly good teacher. He’s patient, interested and understanding, and he will get the best out of you. He really gets to the root of any issues or nervousness around driving – which really means that you come out of his lessons as a driver ready for anything.

He also went above and beyond for me around my test date, with extra sessions at my request and anticipated issues far ahead of time.

If you’re based in Liverpool or around the city centre, I highly recommend getting the short Merseyrail Train to Birkenhead Central to do lessons with Jump Start and Shah. I would get picked up from and dropped off here after lessons at which was super convenient.

I would particularly recommend if you’re one of those people who feels like they want a no-nonsense, completely comprehensive learning experience. Where all you have to worry about is coming to the lessons and engaging.

Shah is the best instructor everr, I passed first time with only 1 minor (it was at the start of the test so obviously I was super nervous). Lowkey he’s like a therapist as well as an instructor very up to date in how emotions and environment effects driving. I had a horrible instructor before Shah which really made my driving and confidence go downhill, Shah helped me build my confidence and I passed manually first time!!! Highly highly recommend :)))

It’s been a long journey with Shah but we finally got there in the end. The best instructor I could’ve gotten, he tailored the lessons to suit me and helped me understand what I’m doing and why. He not only helps you get grips with the basics but also pushes you to get use to more advanced techniques which help in the long run. Excellent instructors, motivates you to pass and encourages booking test in good time according to individual progress. Part of an established driving school so would have other instructors to cover in case one isn’t available, they are reliable and highly qualified in teaching students to become competent drivers not only to pass the test.

Top driving instructors who are passionate about driving and they want to see you succeed, best decision I made was to take lessons with Jump start driving lessons, luckily they do driving lessons in Ellesmere port. They also do driving lessons in Wirral, I did driving lessons with Jump start in birkenhead.

I am so excited as l have passed my driving test today. I give all the credit to my instructor Zhara. I started lessons with her after l had done about 8 double lessons with another driving school. At that point l wanted to give up as l felt like l was too dumb and could not just get it. Zhara was so patient with me and was so calm, patient, friendly and still so professional. She made me feel confident. I was pregnant that time and even after having my baby, she booked me in for lessons in advance before many as it was now hard for me because of childcare. When l failed my first test she actually said it was a good fail that made me hold on and also comforted me. I can’t recommend you enough. You are one in a million.

Jumpstart gave me the training to go from a complete beginner to a confident, fully-qualified driver. Shah tailored each session to my needs and allowed me to develop at my own pace. He encouraged me to improve each week by reading the road and making my own decisions under his guidance. So, I just aced my driving test with Shah! Seriously, he’s like the chillest and most down-to-earth instructor ever. Not only did he teach me how to pass the test, but he’s all about making sure you drive safe on the roads. Super different from those instructors who just want you to pass and that’s it. Passed in my first attempt. Zhara is a brilliant driving instructor, very patient and professional. Lessons felt comfortable and I was able to progress at my own pace. She explains all the rules, ensures to fine tune your areas of weaknesses and gives you the time to be able to evaluate and assess everything by yourself. Overall, she gave me the confidence to drive safely- would greatly recommend.

Amazing instructor, incredibly patient and I feel a confident and safe driver after Shah’s coaching, would highly recommend jump start driving. Always helps explain why to do certain things while driving. Anyone who is worried about starting driving or not confident they could pass a test should definitely go to jump start driving, best one on the Wirral.

I’d highly recommend Jump Start. Shah is a really patient and diligent instructor who makes you feel at ease. I left learning to drive late in life through a lack of with confidence, but gained this through Shah’s teaching methods, and have just recently passed.

Great instructor, teaches you how to evaluate and assess everything by yourself, realistic driving scenarios and to not do things for the sake of doing it, has a lot patience and passed me in under a year would highly recommend to anyone looking for an instructor.

If you have a good instructor who can understand and have patience on your wrongs, you get the confidence to go for the test right away. I have done the block booking and had just two class and two mock test. Yesterday passed in the first try. Thanks to Shorif, the instructor.

Very good instructor gives you clear instructions helps fix any driving issues and gives tips to make everything easier so you can be more aware of the road.

Passed my test easily the second time as Zhara my instructor was very understanding and noticed all the faults I was making and took time to ensure I took correction and get used to them.

The examiner commended my driving also which was a good thing thanks to Zhara’s consistent reminder of the good things I needed to do to pass.

Been working with Jahangir Shah for just about 2 years. He has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe on the road. I would definitely recommend Shah if you’re looking for a great instructor! There was always something new to learn & he always made sure to explain everything thoroughly, helping me to build my confidence whilst on the road.

At the end of each lesson we’d talk about the positive points in my driving and set targets for things to work on in the next lesson, this really allowed me to improve on my driving skills. Thank you very much Shah!

Teaches you everything you need to know to be an efficient and effective driver. Would highly recommend. Very calm and fluent at ensuring driving is done up to a high standard. (Dont worry about the Audi A4 being big and new, makes no difference. Everything is the same as the VW Golf and easier in my opinion).

Initially, I was not sure of passing the practical test in first attempt as my friends said it was very difficult to pass the practical driving test in first attempt.But with all the efforts put in by my Instructor Shah I could easily pass the test in first attempt.So, if anybody wants to clear the test easily in first attempt,I would recommend Jump start driving with instructor Shah as Instructor Shah worked on my weakness and explained everything in depth with complete reasoning which helped me to understand every bit on the road.This surely was one of the best driving experience with Instructor Shah guiding me throughout the journey.

Passed first time! I had to stop my lesson becasue I was couldn’t pass my theory. Soon as I passed my theory I told Shah to give me lesson and get me passed as soon as possible. Sha Mian is a wonderful driving instructor, who taught me the skills that I needed throughout my lessons.

His teaching techniques are very nice ,he makes you comfortable and give a lot of confidance.

I found UK driving routes are very difficult as I came from another country and I was thinkg I won’t be able to pass my practical driving test but the way he taught me ,its really amazing.

I would recommend Jump Start driving School to absolutely everyone, as he was so kind and patient with me when I made silly mistakes. Before many lessons, especially at the middle, I was incredibly anxious, however he kept reassure me “YOU CAN DO IT”
